Noticeboard

We would like to inform all patients that your named GP is: Dr Mina Goyal

CELMP are pleased to announce the opening of a new minor surgery suite at the practice which will offer Minor Surgical services to our patients in Barking & Dagenham.

PLEASE NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY THE SURGERY CAN NO LONGER PROVIDE EXTENDED HOUR CLINICS INCLUDING ALTERNATE SATURDAY MORNINGS FROM 1 JANUARY 2018. WE WILL HOWEVER CONTINUE TO MAKE EVENING APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE UNTIL 6.30PM ON MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS FOR COMMUTERS. PLEASE ASK RECEPTION FOR MORE DETAILS.

PLEASE NOTE: The GP surgery is based in Church Elm Lane Health Centre which also houses other community services like Phlebotomy, Health Visitors, District Nurses and Talking Therapies which are NOT part of the GP. Please contact 0300 300 1790 to access these services.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Church Elm Lane Medical Practice in the last financial year was £70,721  before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs, 2 part time GPs and 0 locums who worked in the practice for more than six months.

However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.”
